Gday I know a few good spots out there mate , most effective method would be softplastic's 2-4inch berkley  go alright , although have had some good catch's on hardbody lures gold silver and ayu all natural colours work best here , if you preferred to use bait can't go wrong with prawn on smallest hook possible and keep sinker to minimal weight , bread under a float can be productive also .
Cheers Joseph.

Had a nice morning out there.  Got some nice tarpon around the scout camp, best went 55cm and put on a nice show.  The bass continue to haunt me there.  Water is really clear above the rapids, and I saw no less than ten bass over 40cm, just couldnt get a hook up.  Lots of hits, and a few plastics ripped off the hook, just not able to get a hook in em.  I was using 2inch grubs with very light jig head
