Upstream side of the Churchbank Weir can be accessed from the reserve about half a km upstream.

Below the weir

Saw some fish trying in vain to jump up into the weir.
Decided to have a flick and got this Bass.
The view looking downstream from the road crossing below the weir.
Decided to flick the spinnerbaits down here too.
Another bass.

Almost a Bass a cast so I dropped the yak in for a better look.

They kept coming.

Thought I had a cod on , but ended up being a stinky yella.

The end of this pool ( about 200-300metres long all up )

Nice work Dave. I was going to give Reynolds creek a go on Sunday. Just where it meets up with the Warrill before that dirty great big weir. Maybe I shouldn't bother if all the fish are stuck downstream...

Wayne there would be fish up there. Can you grab some pics from up there please?

I released some green fish in that system last year BTW.  :thumbsup

I'm hoping to have a stocking program for the upper Bremer / Warrill Creek catchment approved soon. More fish for everyone to catch.

Thanks Gary. I'll give it a go. Here are a few pics from the one time I went there, which by the way was a donut trip. It's a nice looking creek though. The photo's were taken in April this year.

For the amount of flow Warrill Creek had , I couldn't believe how clear it was . Whereas the Bremer out at 7 Mile Lagoon was like melted chocolate.

The whole Warrill Creek/Reynolds Creek area seems to have done very well from the Lake Moogerah spill last summer.

Cheers,
Dave.

Here's a few more pics from yesterday. No fish caught, just an eel that took an Atomic Hardz, but it sure looks fishy. The water was still and not running so maybe with a bit of flow through it might fire up. There was a lot of surface litter and a green algae all over the surface in places.

Launched into Reynolds from a bridge on Muller Rd. Nice easy launch and worth another explore after some rain I reckon.

Warrill Creek near Harrisville. Very steep creek banks here at the bridge.

The view from the Radford Road bridge over Warrill Creek . Heavy tree cover in the creek and the water looks shallow aswell.
