Title: Exploration
Post by: takrat on January 31, 2013, 08:27:26 PM
One of the great things about freshwater fishing is the business of finding water you haven't fished before. I'm going out tomorrow to a little creek that I've driven past many time but never fished. Google Earth makes it a lot easier to do this too. I know there are plenty of people who love fishing dams but the less known creeks are to me the main reason I like the sport. Never get tired of poking around in little creeks. A mate rang me tonight and said that a tiny little creek that runs into the Wilson River downstream of Lismore had filled up, and was part of his neighbors 15 acre property. He said that night they could hear Bass smacking insects off the surface. As the level of the Wilson subsided the Bass went with the water. Have to wait for the next flood.
