Joined a bunch of lure makers and collectors at Borumba this weekend..managed to get 2 sessions in today in Yabba Creek. 1st time Yak fishing...was a hoot, might do it again :o
This morning on the water @ 7.30 this 70cm Cod in the Yak by 4kms and 2.5hours
And this nice Bass in the town reach while on the way home (was looking for some thing slighty darker ;)

Nice cod there Brad yours was a tad longer than mine coming in at 67 cm. I was hoping to catch up with Jas but apparently didn't look in the right places but still had a few beers and laughs with a few guys from Tin Can/Hervey Bay way around midday Sat.. Next trip I may end up camping a night or two so I can enjoy a few more bevvys ;D Cheers Pat. ;D

No Sooties, only 2 of us tried the town reach for that lonely bass by myself. Worked all the snags we could see up to the big island above the rail bridge. There is another hole we were told about further up, but access with the big yak was dodgy, the track down was more of a gully after the floods.
Maybe next time when the limbs aren't as tired and the yak more portable ;D
