Hey guys, can anyone tell me what I'll be likely to catch between lowood and fernvale on the Brissy river? The new wifey has found a new area to go kayaking - I thought I might tag along and go for a fish.

Regards,
Mike and Paula

Bass, lots and lots of Bass.  Put it at Twin Bridges and paddle upstream.  It has a bit more flow than normal at the moment but it's still fishing well.

Thanks. We just arrived back at home and although nothing hooked up - operator error I'm presuming - a great paddle with loads of structure. I had the gopro with me so I'll load up some footage later on. I also think I should get me some lures for bass. I was throwing a River2sea Tango prop lure around for no hits but we did see a lungfish today. We ended up puting in at Colleges Crossing and paddled up as far as we could go before the water was too shallow.

Cheers,
Mike and Paula

Get some 3/8oz Spinnerbaits.  Surface lures are not real good in the middle of the day.
