Title: Pflueger Supreme
Post by: takrat on January 26, 2013, 04:12:22 PM
Anybody had any experience with the pflueger Supreme? I've got one and it's a nice little reel and very smooth but tends to bunch the braid up a fair bit to the front of the spool. I had the problem once with another reel and solved it by putting another washer on the shaft. Trouble is Pflueger (hate writing that) don't supply extra spacer washers like Shimano do.

Hey Bushy,
Not to worry mate, I found a nylon spacer and fitted it to the shaft just ahead of the casting bearing. I also respooled with 10lb Suffix 823, the other stuff was giving me some awaful wind knots not helped by the braid being piled up at the front of the spool. It's all good now. Going up to Clarrie Hall next Saturday so we'll see.
Cheers mate,
JD
