Took a couple o friends up to NPD this morning and got stuck into the local tilapia population.
Took Jon and Rachael a little white to cotton onto their timid bites.

The bite slowed down by 7.30 with gar becoming a pest and we were nearly out of bait by then anyhow so we went and had a look at the redclaw pots for a feed of claw.

Final score was around 36 tilapia
15 tandans
4 gar and some spangleds.
Must admit I am becoming addicted to these tilapia they are a bit like the forkies at wivenhoe as they go like the clappers especially when you are catching them in 8 feet of water right under the boat.
Cheers

They grow to a fair size those tilapia i didnt realise how big. If your into eating them there was a fair feed of yabs and the pest fish .
