G'day guys, im new here, first post as the title suggests.
ive seen some stonker fish on your site and read some great reports, so i thought id better join up quick!
I'm 17 and live and fish on the far north coast of nsw (dont hold it against me!), for any species really, but my favourite would have to be bass.
anyway, the link is a short video/slideshow of a camping trip i took down the macleay river on the mid northcoast in april. please enjoy :) cheers.

Keep them coming mate
never get sick of looking at pics.
Have been saying to myself that I need to get down that way and catch a few Macleay river bass, will one day.
Feel free to PM your secret spot ;)
Those other areas bar the Bass Lodge, is that all public access areas or private?

Good on you matey,
as a fellow FNC resident I know how many others envy out proximity to good bass fishing. Keep 'em coming.

most of the land along that part of the macleay belongs to comara station, which is a 15,000 acre cattle station, we were lucky enough to have access due to 5000 acres of that being old family land which has been sold off now, but we still have access to some parts. there is public camping areas at blackbirds flat, downstream of where we were, and also one at lower creek and the public one near the bass lodge. the river up past pass lodge becomes shallow and fast in a lot of spots, so you've gotta be prepared to hike between holes if you camp up there.
