Title: moon light bassin with hard bodies
Post by: wesfish on October 11, 2011, 11:25:54 PM
took a bass virgin out to lose his virginity this evening. did not take long and he had his first bass going 41cm. we managed a few bass each before it got dark and the full moon was out. this is when i usually head home ,but i stayed because the bass went nuts. using hard bodies with no rattles, we managed 25 bass between us with my mate getting a pb at 44cm and i nailed a few stonkers over 50cm. the best went 56.5cm and was a handfull in the dark trying to see where it was running plus getting the hooks out in moonlight was fun  :o no pliers meant it was fingers only to remove hooks  ;D ;D plus no torch or head lamps lol it was awesome paddling back up the river under a clear night sky with falling stars and a full moon. very keen to do it again!!

Good one Wes

Boys at work went in after night shift on Monday at CC

Got there about 3.30am and had from memory 30 fish by time the sun was well and truly up. Said the smallest one there went 45 and best was 52.
