Title: New Bag Limits for NT Barra
Post by: Bracey on December 09, 2010, 06:31:24 PM
Maybe they should do the same for some rivers in QLD?

What are your thoughts?

We have a state possesion limit of two fish. The Ord River however has a possession limit of one and a slot size of between 55 and 80cm. Big ones have to go back  :thumbsup

I dont see the point of boat limits, particularly for beasties caught in rivers, easy enough to offload some of the catch back at the ramp and go again to stay within the limits. Offshore fish it probably works ok (unless multiple boats share the fish around), butI still dont really see the point of it.

Having different limits for fish in different rivers sounds like a nightmare for enforcement, good idea to even that one up.
