My wife and I spent five days @ Copeton Dam from 9/3/12 to 13/3/12 and its extremely quiet. Would like to know if anyone has done any good there recently?If anyone has any tips on catching Murray Cod there please give me a heads up. I tried Spinner Baits, Trolling hard bodied lures, casting hard bodied lures and also bait fishing with Yabbies.

Me and my dad spent a week there in the third week in february and we only caught 2 cod for the week. Casting a spinner bait around some still green gum trees was one at 65, and then anouther under a rock wall was a little fellaalso on a spinnerbait. we tried all methods except bait. didnt even get any yellas. Talking to a couple of old blokes up there that had been there 7 days before us and they hadnt even caught a fish. I have heard since we come home that the dam is very quiet, We must have been very lucky to get the fish we did.
