The Herald and Weekly Times has published a story regarding a bunch of 40 bozo's that went on a boys weekend camping on the Dumaresq and got pinched for violating a number of regs. It seems they were caught using set lines and illegal rigs catching Cod and Yellas. Sixteen of these got fined $10,000 for their trouble. I say Good on ya Fisheries. Just when you thought we may have moved on from this sort of thing the knuckle draggers proove you wrong.

Set lines still appear to be part of the fishing culture on the western rivers un-fortunately, I think most of these blokes were locals, and a fair age spread from kids to older heads.
Good to hear fisheries both sides of the border co-operating and pro-active.

I had a look at the the News section Dale, looks like the same bunch. I'll have to check in on that a bit more often.
Cheers,
