Wivenhoe Hill trails now open!
SEQwater

As a result of feedback received from the community during the recreation review, a new 16-kilometre multi-use trail network is now open at Wivenhoe Hill offering spectacular views of Lake Wivenhoe to mountain bike riders, horse riders, walkers and trail runners.

Click HERE to download the Wivenhoe Hill trail brochure including a copy of the trail network map. The trails have been rated class 3 under the Australian Walking Trail Standard, requiring a reasonable level of fitness. The Wivenhoe Hill trail entrance is located off Fig Tree Road, via the Hay Road exit on the Brisbane Valley Highway.

Built with the support of the Queensland Government – Getting more people active through sport and recreation. To view the media release for this announcement, download a copy from the document library on the Wivenhoe, Somerset and Atkinson page.

So we could tow our kayak behind our bike for the 4km of black trail and then launch our kayaks down there?

You could carry it in on a Pack Horse Wayne.
