Title: Bulimba creek : illegal activity reporting ?

Heard a sickening report today whilst visiting my mother in law that some locals are catching and killing turtles from the bridge crossing bulimba creek at the end of scrub road carindale.

Not sure if they are being directly targeted or are by catch and are being killed just because they are getting in the way.

Either way its down right wrong.

Apparently this 'lady' doesn't speak English and fits the stereotype 'white bucket brigade'

Happens on weekday mornings and although I have not seen it happen directly,  the bloody mess left on the bridge is sickening.

Just wondering who this could be reported to get it stopped ASAP.

Call the fish watch number 1800017116.  They'll want to know the location, and a rego number will help them.
