Hi all. Word from fello fishos in the shop is yellow belly been going off in boondooma dam. Caught them on Bassman & Smak spinnerbaits. The colour working for the guys was purple and white skirts. Funny coz i couldn't hit a thing when trying bass on that colour. On that day we had to have orange or pink in em. for those wondering yes you do get redclaw here.
In the rusty water it's going off around here. Jacks beleive it or not in the burnett river along with big black Jew. At woodgate the beach is alive with Prawns and Sandies. The winter whiting have also bunched up and there's quite a few good ones in there. It's a bit of a secret woodgate as you can catch all manner of fish from the beach. As and when i get more info on the dams I'll pass it on.

To follow on from that... Boondooma Dam fished pretty tough last weekend for the ABT comp.... Tim the Brim Morgan reported something like only 16 bass caught between the pack. Time in the water paid off apparently with the local guide getting across the line first.
