Title: condamine river
Post by: bushwacker on January 10, 2011, 02:07:06 PM
Just been mucking around on google earth for a river to fish over the ranges from me and was wondering how the strech of the condamine running through warwick fishes ? If it runs out of Leslie dam wich i plan on fishing this year sometime shouldnt it have yella's in it ? Whats the carp population like ?

Wasnt sure to put in locations or general sorry.

Cheers
Steve

At the moment, it would be a write off.  With the amount of water falling on top of the range at the moment, the Condomine will flood tonight or tomorrow.  Pam's stuck in Toowoomba at the moment, she can't get past Withcott at the bottom of the range.  There are wheelie bins floating down the main street of Toowoomba.  She's going to try to make it to Warwick, but I doubt she'll get through.  Just before Christmas the Condomine flooded and split Warwick in half.  When it settles, yes, there are Golden Perch and Cod in the river.
