Title: Barra fishing
Post by: riverhunter on June 18, 2014, 11:52:02 PM
Today we went barra fishing . I got one on tsunami sp and one on toad popper . Got snapped off buy one on sp , and one jumped off hook on sp . It's great when you see them hit top water , had a few close calls on surface before actually hooked one . Had a great day and learnt a lot of new techniques . Who would have thought you could catch barra on small sp baits ment for bream.
Cheers Joseph .

This afternoon I prepared 3 lures with gamakatsu hooks so when we find a spot with big barra won't have to worry about bent trebals .

First hook should point to the front of the lure if you want more consistent hook-ups...
