Smoke hazard at Cormorant Bay – Lake Wivenhoe

Smoke will be visible at Cormorant Bay for up to two weeks due a planned burn in the area.

The burn near Cormorant Bay is planned to start on Friday 7 August 2015 and will take two to three days to complete.

If you are visiting the area, please remain vigilant and follow the directions of signage and staff on site.

Smoke could stay around for up to two weeks after the burn, subject to weather conditions.

If you have a respiratory health condition, follow the advice of your health practitioner and in case of an emergency, call Triple Zero (000).
