Dam level increased fractionally ramp at maleny end ok with care with normal car montville for get it. Still plenty of fish but now lots of from recent stocking.
Hear that SEQ water talking about allowing pro eelers on Baroon pocket and other dams in area.
Rumor has it that it was the eelers who transposed cabomba from mcdonald to ewan maddock
Cheers

Early January when it was at it's lowest, fish were scattered everywhere throughout the lake at all depths and trolling has been the best method to catch these land locked bass. There were cricket scores being knocked up in the vicinity 200+ fish for a 5 hour session between 6 or 7 anglers fishing together. Then the rain came and fish began to school more in concentrated areas and were moving quite vigorously from drop off to drop off once located and were a lot of hard work to stay with them. One particular session I managed to catch approximately 30 bass for a 3 hour session, nothing under 45 cm and several that were 50 cm+. In the past few weeks however the fish have gone into hiding and are again scattered with single fish being located on the fish finder here and there. Again trolling has been the best method from using hard bodies, Swithblades and spinnerbaits! Best of luck if you are heading out there, every day, every hour and every minute within these environments has it's own challenges.....
