Western Rivers
« on: January 08, 2011, 05:28:57 PM »
G'day fellas.

I am going to do some work at Condamine later in the week and will do a bit of fishing on sundown.

Don't know the habits out there too well.  Should I be using spinner baits or be prepared to catch a few of the local lobbies.

Thanks in advance.

Regards Gordon

Same as fishing your local water Gordon. But add some surface paddlers and hard body lures to your spinnerbaits in the box.

Cheers,

fitz..

Still several meters up, but dropping.  I just want the experience.

Thanks Fitzy.

Just a word of caution regarding the above. I Wont be standing too close to the water.

Do you blokes realize that this has been probably the one in a hundred year flood ?

This has started well up north and there is a slab of water moving into the Murray system that has never been seen in most of our life times.  Up in those northern areas we have Crocks.

It unlikely but not impossible that we may hear of Crocks along the Corong.

Eyes open hey,
Gordon

It will be hit and miss, but follow the locals out of town, if they are on the chew they will know where.
