Redline showed some interest in attending a local stocking group meeting, so for him and any one else interested in going - the PRFMA have just indicated that their next meeting is 12th January, starting 6:30pm with a presentation on Toga by Steve. (I've seen him fish for Toga, hes nuts! chin deep in water arm poised to cast, did not move a muscle for 30 minutes until the toga was in the perfect spot for the cast, got it on that one cast, so should be a good presentation, unless of course he is demonstrating his technique!).
Anyway I digress. The PRFMA meetings are one of the hardest to get to for newbies because it is an unnumbered, unnamed private street in the SEQ Water complex at the Pine dam. This image shows where the building is. (the road curves a bit more than the map shows, but its close enough) You'll see all the cars when you get close.
I'll try to get there (its a push for me to get there from work in time) I'll be the old fat bastard with the beard. Then again that describes half the membership :o But they are a friendly bunch.

Due to the current situation the January meeting has been postponed until 19.1.10.

wouldnt mind coming down for a night to have a look at your meetings. would be in the next month or so, but will be interesting from an outsiders perspective. im also interested in the toga talk. if it is possible to sit in, i will try and make it to the jan if not feb meeting.
