As yet another season comes towards its end, again, my money on the non-existing 60cm Bass is still safe in my pocket.  Only one was close to claiming it, and then a slight (70mm!) technical error came to light.  Those 58cm fish that came out of Wivenhoe in the floods of 2011 have had more than 2 years to grow longer in the river, why is it that they have not?  I think my money could be safe for another decade.

Remember, a $100 open order in the Sweetwater shop for a picture of a 60cm or bigger Bass on an accurate measuring device.  Claims of, "I got one, and here's a pic of me holding it!" showing that you have fingers as wide as my wrist won't cut it either!
