Firstly, don't target bass (closed season).

I've not heard of any threadfin salmon lately, but many who fish it have either gone quiet (due to bass closed season) or are leaving them alone.

I've caught estuary cod at the rocks downstream from the ramp (near the footy field) and there's no reason that there won't be the odd flathead or bream.
There's always plenty of bull sharks about, if these interest you, take a few worms or prawns along, catch a few powertails and pin a 10/0 through their back under a balloon and hang on for the ride........

Cheers,

I would not be a Crib for Flat Head and Bream

You able to travel?

If you want them and somewhere ok then try Diamond Head

If your using bait, prawns or worms will be ok. Lures, anything in the 35 to 40mm range will get you either species, flathead need them on the bottom, bream can be lurking at any depth. I like pink for flathead, pale yellows / golds / silver for bream

No just heading to cribb park for a little fish, why wouldn't you recommend it?

You may be annoyed by the power tails.
