Hey guys. Just got this back from Bill Sawynok on the tagged bass I got the other day.
Tagged in Somerset Dam on 31/12/1994 by Harvey B. Total length 320 fork length 300
Recaptured in Brisbane River near junction of Lockyer River on 24/12/2011. Total length 440 fork length 425.
So after 6202 days on the run it has travelled 66km over 2 dam walls and has only grown 125mm.
Thought that was some pretty amazing data. Slow growth rate that's for sure.

I must be good at catching fish that have been on the run for a while as my other tagged bass I caught a few years ago was out for 4092 days.
Tagged 25/04/97, 250mm fork length, Somerset Dam
Recaptured 08/07/08, 500mm fork length, Wivenhoe Dam.
250mm growth in 11 years.
Had another one that I caught in the Albert too but it was no where near exciting.
