I thought that eastern ramp still closed.
I have been doing very well on western arm with live shrimp. Only problem you have to move every 15 minutes due to banded grunter.Fish are hanging at n10 ft level in 20ft of water in amongst the trees.
 Cheers

"Whats a slider?"

I'd say its a Slider Grub 3" soft plastic, a most successful Bass lure, You know, the one that was all the rage before Jackals and Blade vibes...how the masses forget  ;D

This is latest update on SEQ waters website.
Recreation facilities – safety and closures (Tuesday, 9 April 2013)

Water-based recreational activities
As a precautionary measure and in the interest of public safety, the lagoon immediately adjoining the Western Trailhead (Lillybrook) at Lake Wyaralong (Mt Joyce Recreation Park) is CLOSED to all water-based recreation activity due to water quality issues. Seqwater will re-open the lagoon when it is considered safe to do so. The rest of the lake is unaffected and remains open for all permitted water-based recreation activities

All other Seqwater lakes are currently open to water based recreational activities.

Please note that the Eastern boat ramp at Hinze Dam remains closed, pending rectification works on the access road. The Western boat ramp at Hinze Dam is open during normal opening hours (6am to 6pm).

Cheers
Ray

Gee Ray. I didn't think SEQWater did anything until they sent you a letter in triplicate.... You'll have to stir 'em up mate.  ;)

Just inquiring?
It may be possible to launch a yak there by walking it in but if the road is open  I will go for a fish and then Dom will certainly get an email.
 Cheers
