New stop off points established at Lake Wivenhoe
Two designated stop off points have been established at Lake Wivenhoe to enable boaties to take a break when they are out on the water.
The stop off points, which are accessible only from the water, are located at McKeys Hill to the north-east of the lake and McGraths Bay in the south-west. To view the location of the stop off points,

The designated stop off areas have been established in response to feedback received during the recreation review. In particular, consultation with our neighbours highlighted the need for designated stop off points to prevent visitors accessing private property.
A picnic table, toilet and rubbish bin has been established at each stop off point providing boaties and lake users with an area to rest while visiting the lake. Signage has been installed at each stop off point, along with on-water buoys to direct boats and watercraft to the areas. The new stop off points were funded by the Department of National Parks, Sport and Racing.
We hope you enjoy your next visit to Lake Wivenhoe. Don’t forget to plan ahead and play it saf
New interactive recreation map now live!
Seqwater has launched an interactive recreation map showcasing the activities and facilities available at each lake. The new interactive map enables users to scan lake locations to find recreation offerings at each site. Click here to view the interactive map.
Search each region to discover what activities are on offer and read up on the facilities available, along with other helpful information for playing it safe.
Check out the map and other useful recreation information at seqwater.com.au

Cheers
