It takes many years to learn how to breed Australian Bass. It is not just a matter of getting a "breeding pair" and letting them go at it. It is not something you can do in your backyard.

Joey,
There are already oodles of bass in the Bremer and it's fishing far superior than the middle Brisbane is ATM. Plus there was a fair chance they spawned naturally there in the winter.
If you are interested in stocking join a stocking group as they have all the permits from fisheries that allow the stocking of fish.
Your nearest groups are SWFSA, BVA, the boys who do moogerah and maroon( don't know what they call themselves), and there is another mob that stocks lake dyer at laidley. Become educated in fish and your angling results will improve. Good luck.
Cheers,
Dave.

The amount of fingerlings that go home with stocking group members when they stock, most of their local dams and creeks would fish pretty good I'd reckon. ;D

Of course none of those would be from RFEP or SIP funds. I've seen members order some for themselves (for farm dams) to be delivered with the groups delivery. :thumbsup
