Title: Little Fishbrain gets one on the surface

My 10 yr old son Rhys has been a me to take him fishing he was practicing his casting in the pool all afternoon took to the Bremer River Ipswich.Putting in some great casts in to the shadows was rewarded with his first Bogan Bass on the surface he reckons he's ready to come Cod fishing with me this summer happy little man even prouder dad. :yourock

But he was always going to have a fishing problem with a dad like you Brad.

Yeah I think Mums getting worried  :)) How did the PA go ? found a mooring for it yet.

Well done Rys for the fish and well done Brad for taking him fishing. I recall my own son's first Bass in the Clarence above the Gorge. He caught it with a rod and reel we gave him, and he's never forgotten it. He's in Katmandu at the moment but when he comes home, going Bass fishing is high on the agenda for him.

Wes those Threadys should be starting run I got my big fellas around October I think .
