Title: Account opened
Post by: takrat on September 21, 2012, 03:46:59 PM
It's probably better late than never, but I managed to get my account opened on some nice Bass in the Richmond/Wilson rivers over the last couple of days. The water is of reasonably quality, but we have noticed a lot of dead cattle (about 5) along parts of both rivers. Considering the value of these cattle I'd be fencing them off the river if they were mine. The river banks along both of these streams can be very steep. The cattle get down for a drink then eith slip and fall in or simply cannot get back up the bank. I have noticed a few properties have fenced off the river bank however which is good to see. Anyway our first arvo on the Richmond ended up with 5 nice healthy fish and the second on the Wilson arm was a little less spectacular with just 3 fish boated and released. We did have another fish on but it took the lure under a submerged log and busted off. These have all been good fish mostly in the 35 to 40cm fork length, and they put up a good fight. I also managed to christen a new Caldia 2004 and Samaki rod.
Cheers
John

G'Day Fitzy, I only took one pic that I'll post if all goes well, but I also got some footage on the Sheleft video glasses I got recently. I'll see if I can get it on as well although my skills in the area a well known to be lacking.
