Is this open to the public, or, as the name suggests, is this an Invitation only competition?

Because we have invited the general public to fish this event and as I said its the first 100 people to fish. The following year those who fished the previous years event will have 1st option to take up there invitations. If they dont then the invitation then becomes open again to the public until the 100 positions are filled. The idea is 100 people fish this competition and get 5 meals over the weekend, entertainment on the Saturday night and have a more than better chance to win some great prizes .I think we have about 60 different prizes to raffle off on the Saturday night some of which are rod reel combos, rods, lures, shirts, hats etc.So you have a great chance to walk away with some prizes. All you have to do as a competitor is Fish and enjoy a great weekend.
What we hope to acheive from this Competition is simply raise money for restocking and keep our waterways well stocked for everyones fishing future.

Cheers

Brad,

As I stated in the last 2 posts it is open to the general public but it is resticted to the first 100 people that pay their noms. This is the first year that we are running this event.
Again as I stated in the last post the competitors that compete this year will have first option to fish the following year if they dont that INVITATION goes back into the public invite pool.
I apologise if I have confused you and anyone else that is following this post. We certainly have sent out personal invitations as well as posting on fishing related sites.Who knows after the first year we may not have to post on the web.
I thought by posting on here I may have generated some interest from like minded fishos.
All profits taken on the weekend will be used to restock our local waterways for everyone to enjoy.

Cheers
Peter

I think I've got it.  If 100 people enter, they are invited next year.  If any of them don't want to attend next year, that many free places are opened up to the public again.
