Cowwarr Weir reopens to public - 28/10/2013 - Victoria Southern Rural Water
Cowwarr Weir is reopening on Saturday 2 November for public access after being closed for repairs.
Southern Rural Water’s Manager Water Supply East, Terry Clapham, said the June floods caused considerable damage to our works on the Rainbow Creek, as well as depositing large amounts of debris.
“Southern Rural Water staff and contractors have repaired the damage and we are pleased to announce the weir will reopen this weekend.” he said.
“Access to the recreational vehicle camping area of the park will also reopen on Saturday.”
“As always, we ask all visitors to enjoy the facilities and have respect for other users,” said Terry.
