I went fishing on the Mole River near Mingoola on the way home from Victoria this afteroon. The Dumaresq river was still running higher than normal , and so was the Mole . Water clarity wasn't too bad , probably see to a depth of 40cm . In the couple of hours I spent there , landed 2 cod and missed a couple of others.

The second cod , it would have been lucky to be 50cm , a tiny tacker.

Here's a pic of the Severn River crossing on the way back to the Glenlyon road. It still has a good flow in it .

The Mole looks up a bit but not that much.
New launch spot is much better too hey.

Sel , its a Gara Tera . Quite a heavy lure but its floats to the surface very quickly once you stop your retrieve . Bass seem to like them aswell .
