Title: Another little Sojourn
Post by: LilDave on March 25, 2013, 09:27:51 AM
We had some storms overnight Friday, so I took the opportunity earlyish Saturday to head down to the local for a wander.

I was using a Bushy's Stiffy popper, and came oh so close to landing a sweetwater trifecta....  Unfortunately the JPs only had one go at it, and then they disappeared.

Not long after I donated my Stiffy to the fish gods.  Hopefully that's enough to appease them for the upcoming Easter long weekend.

Jacks on poppers, that's gold.

Well...  We've finally had a little bit of rain....  Better late than never I guess.  I'll be pretty keen to try again on the weekend...

I did get out for an hour or so last saturday morning, but the big tides had pushed up into these lower reaches. ...  Plenty of Jacks still about though, I managed one sexy little fella, and lost a good one! and  :OMG I nearly needed a change of underwear when one of the residents followed my little stickbait at speed...
