Lake MacDonald

This dam has been turning it on over the last couple of weeks and I’m sure it’s only going to get better as it gets hotter and hotter. My best bet would be to cast Smak spinner baits in the 3/8 size so it doesn’t get two weeded up. If this isn’t working cast small blades into the weed and burn it out this is always a favorite for me.
Surface lure have been working great early in the morning.
Cultiva Zip’n Ziggys have been doing the damage and the new Diving Kahara Frog. This lure just dives under the surface and is a great way to target fish over thick weed edges.

Lake Borumba
Lake Borumba has been getting pretty hit by skiers lately because of the warmer weather but don’t let this worry you the bass are still schooling in the start of the trees.
These fish are starting to lift off the bottom so soft plastics are ideal for this situation.
Always keep an eye on your sounder so you can see where the fish are sitting so you can keep your plastic in the right area.
Keitech swing impacts have been working great, Berkley gulp in the minnow grabs have been working well match these to a 1/2oz jig head and count the lure down to where the fish will be sitting.
The saratoga will start to firer up this month because they would of stopped there breeding.
The best lure that work are Cultiva Zip'n Ziggy's and MegaBass Anthrax lures.
