Lake Somerset Newbie
« on: January 09, 2014, 10:03:11 PM »
gday, new to the forum. I was thinking about heading out to Lake Somerset to try and get some nice bass. I was wondering where would be the best place to put the boat in with regard to where they are biting and the best technique. Also, can you get a boating permit over the phone or do you have to physically travel to a location to get one? Thanks.

You can buy your permit at the Lake, or at Fernvale Futures Complex.  Best launching spot is The Spit.  Expect a lot of skiing traffic this time of the year.
