I've been running it on one reel for a short time. Can't fault it to date.

Cheers,

I've been running 50lb Finns on a few reels.  They've done a couple of trips to PNG and a few Awoonga trips without any issues.

I never made the switch to braid  :OMG Maxima, Schnieder and the cheap bulk lines from Big W work wonders for me

Cheers
Wal

I'm with Wal on this one. One of my mates use's braid and the amount of times i have seen him run into trouble with horse fish using braid and losing it allways makes me laugh.  Horse's for course's I suppose.   :thumbsup

Ive been playing a bit with the new line and snagged a stalk of jhonson grass on the back cast and got a small overrun, Came out no worries at all just being gentle not tugging on the line. i think its great !

Fins is good stuff, I've used the lighter 4lb stuff on a threadline, and some 12lb on a baitcaster. It casts well and doesn't give me any problems. Can't see any reason why I'd ever go back to mono, but I do have a mate who insists that low stretch mono is great stuff. Whatever blows your hair back I guess.
