Hi Campfish

Welcome aboard

The local stocking group put good numbers of Saratoga in there both before and after the drought, then major floods. No other species have yet been officially restocked but local talk of catching yellow belly and silver perch there occasionally.
There are naturally occurring populations of spangled perch, eels, tandans (eel tailed catfish) and bony bream.

With Atkinsons Dam being at close to full for a while now, it has again become popular with water skiers and jet skiers, not alot of room left for some quiet fishing in the main basin. If I were going there tomorrow I would head up the back into the small timbered area in search of some Saratoga.

I would suggest this location fishes quite poorly compared to Lakes Wivenhoe or Somerset.

Kind regards
