Michael Gough and I fished Lake Windamere between Christmas and New Year, and despite thick algae at the wall end of the dam managed some nice Golden Perch. Fishing timber lined rock walls and points Michael picked up the biggest fish for the trip being a beautifully coloured 54 CM Golden. HL Black in the TN 60 LCB worked well on the cast, with even the smaller fish putting on a good show being full of short hard runs and head shaking antics.
