Title: Mole River
Post by: takrat on July 08, 2012, 09:23:03 PM
I camped up at Glen Lyon last week and spent most of my time walking the banks of the Mole rather than fishing the dam. We picked up a few Cod, with some nice hits on surface lures. (jointed Jitterbug) and one on a Bassman Spinnerbait. For the hunters among us there was an awful lot of pig damage along the river. I reckon they come down there at night and plow the place up. Anyway I thoroughly enjoyed myself and celebrated the last cod caught by falling in the river. You can't beat a day like that.
Cheers,
JD

You wouldn't have any trouble tracking these pigs mate, looked like someone had dropped the rippers on a CAT. Yeh Surface is the best it gets. Even better with a baitcaster...
