Fish Stocking Increase - Victoria Dept of Primary Industries
Fisheries Victoria has fulfilled its objective to increase fish stocking by doubling the amount of trout and natives stocked in Victorian waterways in 2010.
Systems such as Lake Eildon, the Goulburn River, King River, Lake Wendouree, Cairn Curran Reservoir and the Nagambie Lakes have received large numbers of fish this year and are supporting great recreational fisheries.
It’s a great example of your licence fees at work plus government interest.
