Here's a presentation I did for a seminar that I've converted to a PDF that folks can download. It gives a rough game plan for anyone planning an inland fishing trip in Qld. Thought some folks may get some use from it.

Hi Andrew,
Any chance of letting us know how you go at Wuruma?
I am thinking of doing a long weekend down there myself.

yeah dale that yeti usually hangs out near the camp sites out at baralabar. we think he drinks all of our beer when we're out there camping (maybe dodgy counting of beers drunk). i blame the yeti, one of my hatchery technicians could be confuced with one though.

Are they still stocking Barra at Bedford Weir KH?
-
That was well done Fitzy. I sold a rod n reel to a guy in emerald now i know what he's using it for. Good pics and info.

Well put together, camp at many of them spots over the years in our travels but never had a boat, maybe it time to put the yak on the motorhome and go again. We love the facilities at Bedford Weir, Theresa Creek dam and nurmous spots of the other, again well done on the presentation.

Has anyone had much luck fishing at Bedford Weir? I have driven past the turn-off many times and always wondered if I should take the boat in there to cast a few lures around the place.

Because of the large puddle of water above the wall - the fish make themselves very scarce - you're best chance in the puddle is a Saratoga.
Below the weir is a different matter - if you are willing to do a bit of exploring. The rewards are often excellent.

Thanks for the reply Fishfolk.
I you ever want someone to have a fish there with you just let me know.
