From Humble Beginnings!

Well it's been just over 5 months since Ewen Maddock Fish Management Inc. was formed, when just over a dozen fella's answered the call who were from all walks of life and keen to see the lake regain it's statis as a fantastic destination as an inland coastal fishery on the Sunshine Coast.

We now have over 30 members, guys and gals, who I am very proud to be associated with. We have acheived so much in such little time and much thanks goes to the hard working, keen, dedicated members of the group. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank our sponsors and Fitzy who has been extremely supportive as we are all very new to the areana with the exception of some members. So  Fitzy for giving me especially, the support and guidence needed to make this all possible.

We haven't released any fish as yet however today we ordered or first lot of fingerlings to be released in the lake mid-January.

17500 Australian Bass
8500 Golden Perch
3000 Silver Perch

In total 29 000 fingerlings ordered, which is a sustainable amount for the fishery.
