Big Bend targets a prosperous future
           

A unified rural community within the Big Bend agricultural district in the most northerly loop of Central Queensland’s Mackenzie River is actively lobbying all levels of government to enable this resource-rich area to be developed to its full potential.

Just read the article good example of a community helping itself but nothing about fishing or even waterways.
