Title: more awoonga fingerlings
Post by: k.hutchby on March 30, 2012, 06:20:04 PM
hi guys
just an update on the fingerling stocking allocation for awoonga 2011/12.  today was the finalle with 107,000 fish at an average of 90mm stocked into upper reaches of awoonga.  this brings the total for the year to 287,000 fish at a total average of 105mm, and with the potential of another 50,000 if flood waters persist to pester access to the fitzroy river.  to date this is the biggest stocking efforts of gawb (EVER).  over 1.2 tonne of fingerlings.

cheers
kurt

Thanks for the update.
We are certainly indebted to the GAWB for their support of the fishery.
 Cheers
Ray
