Post by: freshy2fish on January 03, 2012, 12:03:40 PM
Am spending a bit of time out this way and been sussing out the local rivers and creeks, anyone suggest places to try or areas to look at around the Dalby area?

You can drop into the Bowenville Reserve, its between Dalby and Oakey and it is a camping reserve on the banks of Oakey Creek. The local fishing stocking group had cleaned up the creek and resnagged it before the floods and stock it with MRC and Yella's but I don't know what it is like now since last years floods.. Apparently a good spot for bait, but they do drag lures through there...

Cheers
