Title: Interesting day out.
Post by: justcasting on May 29, 2013, 05:56:16 PM
About time I made a post on here.

I decided to make the most of a day off Tuesday and sneak in my first ever fish on brissy river before the season closed. I unfortunately descovered (the hard way) that a 4wd was required to launch at twin bridges.
Then a change of plan I decided to try Wivenhoe for the first time. I spent 4 hrs on the water hoping to find a large bass or too but although I found a few schools I was unable to get a touch from them. The day was not a complete waste as I managed to get 6 Yellowbelly including a new pb for me at 49cm on a lure I made myself.
I was amazed at how many fish I was seeing on the sounder in the small part of the dam I explored. I think I will be back many more times now.
Just my opinion but I find $15 to be able to use just my electric on my little tinnie is excessive.

Nothing wrong with a few yellas that's for sure. I was also amazed by how many fish were showing on my sounder last week out there. Certainly going to he my spot of choice if the wind behaves.
