Just a heads up Marry River Cod breed around this time off year so are best left alone. Just some friendly advise please dont take offence.

No offence taken at all Poly. Glad that you feel passionate enough about these fish that you're first post on Sweetwater was to inform someone of the breeding season for MRC. I am well aware this is the case and this guy was tagged and then released back under the same log I caught him from where he might have been guarding a nest, hopefully. Numerous bass, our target species, were caught on the day.
