Clarence/ Orara Rivers

Liz and I put the boat in at Copmanhurst on the Clarence the other day and travelled downstream to where the Orara River joins it. The water was nice and clear and looked very promising. Saw a few small arches on the sounder in deeper sections but no schools so the fish are probably still further down stream. Yesterday I went out to the Clarence with a mate to his property above the Gorge and the situation was the same. Damn I love that river!

A spectacular river JD. Arguably Australia's best wild bass river.

Got that right Fitzy, and I'll be spending a bit of time on it this year. Might get you down for a bit of that as well.
