Hinze Dam western boat ramp will re-open Friday 2 May

Seqwater advises - The western boat ramp and car park at Hinze Dam will re-open on Friday 2 May 2014.
Both were closed to public access after construction materials were illegally dumped in the car park.
The eastern boat ramp remains open and is accessible from Little Nerang Rd and Range Rd.

I reported the dumping on the 29th. Whoever did it needs nutting not only did they dump it they spread it around over the entire parking area. Broken pallets,plasterboard,bricks ,metal plus other assorted junk, The rangers would have had to sweep the whole area to clean it up.
From speaking to SEQ water it would appear that it is not in the contract for the security people who open the gates to report any vandalism or other incidents.
If you see and incidents such as dumping,motorised craft ,camping please ring 180073792837 ( 24 hr number) or if the rangers are on the water give them a yell.
