What are the chances?
Two Yellas caught exactly 2 weeks apart , from the same snag , being the same body length !! Surprising in these have been my only Yellas since the Brisbane river Bass turkey shoot began .

And are they the same race/strain of Golden perch?
Cheers,
Dave.

Almost certainly come out of the lakes upstream. None ever stocked into the river below Wivenhoe Dam.
Species stocked upstream are Murray Darling strain Golden Perch. The differences are just individual fish, just like people eg, I'm a superbly hansom fellow of perfect proportions where others may not be so good looking. ::) :P
Actually the 2nd fish looks like it's had some fin damage, possibly at hatchery stage of its life.
Cheers,
fitz..

Yep, got it for a bargain price after the recent show in town. Don't know why they wanted to sell it so cheep. It works a treat. :walkplank
